Fulfilling its mission to provide students with real-world learning experiences, Manor Excel Academy accepted an invitation to tour Google’s brand new downtown location.
Students made the most of their journey to downtown: touring the historical Driskill Hotel, visiting the Contemporary Arts museum, and hiking the along Lady Bird Lake, before exploring Google’s creative work space. There, a Google engineer showed students the perks of working in a workplace that value’s its employees happiness.
Aside from the open work spaces, students saw the video game rooms, pool tables, basketball hoops, and infinite snack counters.
