Manor ISD seniors were treated to an afternoon of food, treats, congratulations, scholarships and even a performance from their principals during the Decision Day Luncheon.
The event took place at the new Manor Senior High School. All three high schools come together so the district could congratulate its seniors who have chosen to pursue post-secondary options such as college. The Manor Education Foundation awarded 10 Seniors with scholarships worth $3,000 each.
Many of the seniors in attendance planned on going to well-known universities including the University of Texas, Texas State University, and Baylor.
The event, which was organized and sponsored by the Manor Education Foundation, included speeches from Dr. Avery, Principals Jon Bailey, Bobby Garcia, David Bittner, and Debra Aceves, as well as a musical performance from the Manor New Tech High School Choir with backing by Mr. Bailey, Mr. Garcia, and Manor Alternative Program Principal Dr. Christopher Harvey.
Congratulations to our seniors!
